Here it is... my latest track... an UNAUTHORIZED remix of Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek. Give it a listen and let me know what you think. I am really stoked with how this turned out. I am definitely getting the hang of my new midi controller and VST instruments. Most of these sounds are self created! Not loops!
Keylime - Hide and Seek Remix [mp3 5:45]

Unfortunately the volume of the mp3 is a little low. Acid is screwing up the rendering and introducing distortion when I try and export at full volume. So crank your volume!!
Update 11/13/2005 6:41pm CST
I just uploaded a new version with corrected midrange levels. I think this one is less muddy. It still sounds better on my good headphones directly into the computer than it does on my MP3 player... but that is always the case! :)
Great song :)
LOVE your remix.. !

Thanks for leaving a comment. How did you stumble across this?

Not too bad. The intro is a little odd. At first it feels like it's not flowing right. Sort of like you are forcing it to fit the tempo. As the song progresses it sounds good.
I think I have a remix idea in my head and maybe that is conflicting.
All around, very good mix.

Hello, I liked your mix, I remember when I first listed to this song, I was just screaming for a beat that never came...
Anyhow, well done :) I think ill slap your mix onto a CD to listen to in my car, though I do agree with bando, I wasn’t 100% sure about the start, it didn’t seem to flow..

your mix is ok...where did you download the original rmx from? I can't find it anywhere?

The original mix I just ripped off the CD. It is an acapella track, so it is easy to remix.

Mind-blowingly good. Release more.
