My post about Mix06 and RSS is making the rounds. Looks like Charlie Wood, founder of Spanning partners (formerly of Newsgator) linked to me as well:
Trapper Markelz is a project manager at the global executive search firm Spencer Stuart. He's working on some very interesting RSS projects within his company, but apparently got away long enough to attend Microsoft's recent Mix06 event. From a post on his blog
Look ma! I'm famous! Ok not really... but it is still cool. RSS is to me like CSS use to be. It is a powerful technology that, when used correctly unlocks capabilities within the enterprise that you never knew were possible. No one envisioned being able to create an entire mobile-enabled application by simply creating a "handheld" style sheet. Similarly, very few people appreciate the power that RSS has for highly relevant information distribution. It is our job to make them understand that... not by telling them, but by using products like Newsgator Enterprise Server to show them.
