I had a pretty rad Father's Day. It started off yesterday when the gift giving began. I landed a classy bottle of scotch and a khaki blazer that will make me look fly. Scotch and sport coats... does it get more grown up than that?
After a quick morning run (that sucked more than it should have) we did a little breakfast at Baker's Square. They have the best hashbrowns on Earth... shredded, crispy and oh so delicious. After that, the whole family hit the Evanston street fair where we browsed the goods, took in a little Indian dancing, had some iced coffee and called it a morning.
The afternoon was spent lounging on the couch watching Brazil take down Australia in first round World Cup action. We headed back to Evanston for a haircut and some book shopping. After pounding eight buffalo wings I feel asleep on the chair in my living room watching a show on the Science Channel. I passed out so hard I even dropped my beer on the floor. When a dad has to sleep, he sleeps right?
This evening I am doing some catch-up work on 360voice.com and Battlestarblog.com. A techno-geek's work is never done. Oh, check out this interview that Steve and I did the other day. It turned out pretty good and will give you some sense where the 360voice.com project is at right now.
Life is good though... Father's Day rules.
