Welcome Lucy
There is a new member of the Markelz family. Lucy Kate Markelz was born at 8:05pm 6/25/2007 weighing in at 7 lbs. 12 ounces. The middle name "Kate" is in honor of my sister Katie Markelz and Maureen's sister Katie McNulty.
The labor and delivery went without incident. Both mom and baby are in great shape. While it took about 12 hours for things to get started, once things were underway, Maureen only pushed for 10 minutes.
If you notice a little higher-quality in the photos this time around, it is because I got Maureen a Canon Rebel XTi SLR camera as the "birth gift". So Lucy might not get AS MANY photos as Hannah had, because that is what happens with the second child... but at least they will be higher quality!

Congratulations you guys!

Wow, everyone's rocking the Rebel these days!
And no, I don't have "i" envy since I only have the XT, unlike Mo and Nora.
I've got a list of cool tips, books, and gear for the Rebel that I was going to send to Nora - I'll send it to you guys too.
And congrats, btw...
